It would be harder if I didn’t already have many beautiful quilts of my own. It also helps that I went into the making of it already knowing it was for someone else. If I make a quilt without a plan to give it away, it’s much harder for me to give up once it’s finished.

Check out @lace_bakes on Instagram. She has links to a lot of her recipes. As far as difficulty, it was easy, you just need to give yourself enough time to allow the dough to rise.

Yes! I will definitely start saving more batting scraps now that I can use them this way. I used 8 inches for my first turn.

I just finished one and there were definitely steps that challenged me. But the end result was super rewarding.
