Saw Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band this week. My 3rd time, 9 years after the 2nd and 13 since the 1st. I remember thinking they were the best band in the world after that first time, in 2012. I’m even more sure of it after this one. An incredible night, still thinking about it.

Lived my absolute best life at the Flaming Lips show last night, still the most fun, joyful band out there. Was my third time seeing them, probably the best, and it was also, by far, the most confetti I’d ever seen in my life.

Great show from Father John Misty tonight, as always :’). New songs were already great on record and work even better live, and all the oldies are as good as they’ve ever been.

Saw This Will Destroy You last night, felt like I was 18 again obsessively listening to them and finding out about this genre called “post-rock”. My hairline has changed, but my love for the genre continues.

I mostly play the Switch when I’m travelling these days so I’ve been playing it the last few days and I’m sorry but I still really, *really* love Pokémon Violet. Yes yes performance etc etc but look at this it’s me swimming with a group of Lapras, what more could I want???

Absolutely perfect and beyond words beautiful show from @theweatherstation.bsky.social tonight at Silent Green, a venue I’d forgotten is one of the best (if not the best) in the city. The arrangements, the light show, how each song flowed into the next–a unique, transportive show. So, so good.

Astonishing show from Alan Sparhawk @lowtheband.bsky.social tonight, broke my heart and then glued it back again. Raw and tender and intense–loved the new songs live, both from White Roses and the unreleased ones, and that encore with White Horses and Days Like These, UFF!! A pretty magical night.

John Williams is playing in Berlin with the Philarmoniker in June and tickets, ofc, sold out in a minute. Saw him with the orchestra a few years ago and it was incredible. I had the cheapest tickets but sneaked to the expensive seats during the break and ended up on the second row. It blew my mind

Today is a very eventful day to be living close to the CDU headquarters. I got out of the bus and a giant Merz was looking at me, felt like the people in Tokyo when Godzilla shows up.

One of my favourite things to do every year is go to the #Berlinale to see the premiere of the new Hong Sang-soo, *by far* one of my favourite filmmakers, with him in attendance–and tonight I got to do it once again :’). What Does This Nature Say to You, his new one, is *very* good. I’m very happy.

Saw A Complete Unknown tonight at the #Berlinale, seated a couple rows behind Timmy and Kylie. It was like watching a movie with the zeitgeist in the room.

Saw Mogwai @mogwai.scot, my absolute favourite band, tonight for the 10th time in Berlin. It was another incredible show, but an extra special one: they played my favourite song of theirs, My Father My King, which I never, ever thought I’d ever get to hear live :’) what a night :’)))
