8yo: I'm collecting it.
Me: Please don't.
8yo: Why not?
Me: It's hard to clean and get out.
8yo: But I want something in my pocket.
Me: Put your hands in your pocket.
8yo: I can't. They'll get hurt.
Me: How so?
8yo: Because of the grass

I had an amazing time teaching a class on composite counterstorytelling in education this semester. Our last class was yesterday and we celebrated finishing our collective final: A zine of all the counterstories written by students in the class.
