Boycotts work. Nonviolent protest *can* work, but it has to have a clear message and objective. What is the objective here? Who does this help? How does this protest ICE? It sticks it to Home Depot, sure. If that was the goal, I'd have nothing to say. But this does nothing to stop ICE.

Not criticizing that post. Just sharing my thoughts on the importance of identifying who and what we're talking about.

For example, the last post I reposted, it's not "The Left" that is pushing for MTG to team up with Democrats, Liberals are. Progressives (Democratic Socialists) don't like MTG. Leftists (Socialists/Communists) hate her. The words mean something.

That's not to say there isn't a real and true meaning for "Leftist" as a descriptor (which does not encompass Liberals, who are also on "The Left™️"). It just feels like we either need to be more specific about who we're talking about or find better language to describe what we're talking about.
