Tip 4: Verbosity is your enemy

Keep it simple. There’s no maximum or minimum number of words. But a good rule of thumb is not to pack too much into your press release. Less is more!

Tip 3: Planning & strategy! Determining your key messages will bring focus to your writing. A good press release will usually stick to two or three succinct key messages that will resonate with your audience.
