Flying pony!
OK, 2026 is fired, I lost my first calf since I've been raising cattle to cold. 5 days old, dead out in the pasture this morning. Here at my home farm, I also have 3 deer carcasses relatively close together - the newest one is fresh and looks like it was killed by a large feline.

Last night, my horse teleported out from under me. I hit the ground 18 feet away resulting in my first broken bones: 2 ribs. I am not in terrible pain, however, this means I can't do my barn chores while they heal. Anyone want to come shovel shit for a couple hours T-F over the next 2 weeks?

I have partaken of the food of gratitude with thankful family. It seems though, that I only know how to cook for 30 people, when this year we had 14. So Many Leftovers.
