oooh Chants of Sennaar has been on my list for a while! Might have to download that one soon.
November 21, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Adding A Case of Fraud to the list too! I love a short & satisfying game.

This is the first I'm hearing of The Painscreek Killings and it looks super up the alley of what I'm looking for. Adding it to the list!
November 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Lorelei been on my list for a while, but I wasn't sure exactly what to expect with it. Definitely moving it higher on my list now!
November 21, 2025 at 6:55 PM
I hadn't heard of this one before! The mechanics look interesting.
November 21, 2025 at 6:54 PM
Oooh I've heard of this one!! It looks really good, definitely keeping an eye on it.
November 21, 2025 at 6:51 PM
I went to look up Paradise Killer and it turns out I... already own it?? I must have picked it up in a bundle. It looks fantastic, definitely giving that a try soon!
November 21, 2025 at 6:50 PM
oooh I played Her Story years ago, never thought to do it in this way. That's a great idea.
November 21, 2025 at 6:46 PM
This is an absolutely killer list, thank you!! I didn't realize Tunic falls under this category. Also there's a few on here I'm surprised I've never heard of, like Between Horizons that you mentioned below.
November 21, 2025 at 6:46 PM
oh this is so cool!
November 21, 2025 at 6:38 PM
This one's definitely on my list! I've only heard great things.
November 21, 2025 at 6:35 PM
The parrot... I love you Ace Attorney.

I've actually been getting the craving to go back and play them, it's been years since I've played any of them.
November 21, 2025 at 6:34 PM
Oh hell yes will absolutely be making my way through this
November 21, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Oh this one's also on my list to play! But I'd forgotten about it, thanks for the reminder.
November 21, 2025 at 5:07 PM
That's exactly the type of thing I'm looking for 🔥
November 21, 2025 at 5:06 PM
You're the 3rd person to recommend Golden Idol haha so I'll definitely give that a whirl. Roottrees is also high on my list to try.

I'm actually playing Blake Manor right now! I'm having fun with it, but it's pretty easy - you don't really have to think much.
November 21, 2025 at 5:06 PM
@kadenramstack.bsky.social also just suggested this, so it's definitely going to be one of my next games
November 21, 2025 at 5:04 PM
I have not! I only recently stumbled across the first one and I'd never heard of them before. I'll give them a go!
November 21, 2025 at 5:04 PM
I feel like a lot of murder mystery games either 1) hold your hand too much (like Seance of Blake Manor, which I'm in the middle of), or 2) make some pretty wild leaps in logic (like Ace Attorney, my beloved). Been on the hunt for that perfect center.
November 21, 2025 at 5:02 PM
I wish I did! I love this type of story but don't have a word for it.
November 20, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Yes! Death of the Author has a 2-player version, and The World We Left Behind is cooperative for up to 5 players.
