Don’t be afraid to alter stats on the fly if you haven’t scaled the encounter well. I always aim to give the players a fun and challenging experience, not just a combat.

The only caveat is to not diminish clever moves the PCs make. Smart play should be rewarded.

I’m honestly impressed with all 4 covers, but the texture on the alt cover books feels so happy in my fingers. Both artists did such an amazing job bringing some of the most famous characters in D&D to life. 💛
