Day 4 of #DecemberTransReadathon

Step by Step Feminisation, or How I Accidentally Invented Transness by @lunacy.fyi

As ever I'm still reading it (I finally managed something slightly longer) but so far it's hecking adorable especially if you like the eggs dense and the brainworms working overtime

Day 3 of #DecemberTransReadathon

It's been a long day, and yesterday's book was such a lovely combination of sexy and unbelievably adorable that I've gone for the sequel:

Day 2 of #DecemberTransReadathon
But There's Only One Bed! by @8bitem.bsky.social

I was planning on saying something about each one but as it is I'm mostly reading in bed and posting this first. This one especially is not ideal for reading at lunchtime in the office.

#DecemberTransReadathon, finally a one-thing-every-day-of-the-month trend I'm equipped for. Not sure how many I'll get through given at the peak of the binge I was averaging "only" one book every ~2.5 days, so lets start with a bite size one:

Since I got a lovely present from my partner and her other partner last weekend, time for the closest thing to a selfie I'm willing to post. Please ignore the mess in the kitchen.

You've just died.
The 6th picture in your phone gallery is what killed you. NO CHEATING!

Bad luck, for once it isn't a cat picture.

I feel like I might be failing on the thing I told myself I wouldn't do i.e turn my entire feed into gender posting (or Dorley posting, which is basically a subset of that). So have some cute *flails randomly through a bunch of photo folders* lizards!

Sometimes I just really need to remind myself of a time of year that isn't cold and dark, and a place that isn't England.

Turns out cross-stitch is a good way to drag ones hands away from the computer while still being a terminally online nerd.

True, but they're just a lil' guy

I knew I had a dramatic sunset picture of it somewhere. Also reminded of the thematic black cat that likes to hang out in that graveyard.

Didn't really go anywhere on my last France visit given both my partner and I got ill, so I mostly ended up with photos of dramatic skies.
September 29, 2025 at 9:10 PM
With perfect timing, found this in my lunch break earlier while wondering what to read for 30 minutes, now got a bit further in and...

Firstly, the story absolutely adorable, also I love the chapter titles.

Secondly, ouch, this was literally me 12 weeks ago:

I should probably post some more of these given I'm going to France again tomorrow and will inevitably come back with a few hundred more photos. Time for more gratuitous waterfall! (You can see some people for scale at the bottom of the second picture)

And some more

Taking a bit of a liberty with definitions, but I just found out about #StandingStoneSunday and I feel like this picture from the same walk was thematically appropriate.

Finally posting some photos from our trip up to the Cirque de Gavarnie in the Pyrenees from when I was visiting my parents in the spring. Starting with some atmospheric low cloud on the way up.
August 11, 2025 at 9:41 PM
Good luck with that! I'll be incredibly jealous if you manage it, Pyrenees are probably my favourite place, I always try to go up there whenever I'm in the region.

And even then, internal Mako Group documents suggest that their proprietary Post Misssion Stress Reduction techniques are fully effective on fewer than four percent of pilots; and that's before you remember that those also need the cockpit that perks you off.
