I wish that ACIP is no longer pub associated with CDC. Since ACIP is currently strictly run by DHHS, and CDC is not even participating in developing an agenda, or drafting/presenting slides, then HHS should be responsible for setting up the meeting and taking responsibility over the outcomes.

Love the suggestion, thank you so much! Friendly edit - the modern term is “uses a wheelchair” not “wheelchair bound” because the latter suggests that the wheelchair is holding the person back but in reality it is a great tool of mobility and freedom.

Shall we apply this to US security? Give each family a certain amount of money to support their own police or soldier. I mean, why have the state provide it? Ditto for air traffic control, roads. Etc. Families can choose their own contractors and pay them.

I wonder if their morale is lower than the mass of federal employees who have been fired because of their (Congress) willful compliance with the administration? At least the House Republicans have a guaranteed job until January 2027 unlike so many other federal employees.

There is already a shortage of nurses - now with decreasing loan support for nursing school plus decreasing supply of foreign born nurses (some of the best in the world), the US will be left with a poorer and less prepared health system. How does the administration not see this?

That’s one hell of a moral failure to say that humans don’t deserve care in a de facto detention center by calling it a “processing” center.
