Once again, we've been Gailed.

Thanks; I understood the directions, but what I'm saying is that I cannot put "google.com" in for the shortcut...It does not let me do that.

That said, I *did* try it with "www.google.com" and it does seem like it worked. So, here's hoping, and thanks for posting the video!

Ahhhh, it's that time of year again. Time to deliver my meme-filled lecture on responsible presentation design and content.

This one's is a personal favorite of mine:

You'd be surprised how many people / dinosaurs can fit in a single automobile.

Gosh, I enjoy looking at various satellite products, especially for distinguishing clouds at night. You can find out more about this product (Night Microphysics) here: www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/sector_...

Rumor has it she was singing "My Way" to flag him down, too.

Now the WPC is screen-size shaming me for trying to visit their Probabilistic Precipitation Portal while I'm literally on my laptop? Damn, that's cold. 😏

I am envisioning this meme with a mother and offspring kidney, with "mines" instead of "crab rangoon" and I cannot stop laughing. 😅👍

(It's been a very long day.)

Got one for that, too...though admittedly it's a little more esoteric. 😅

I will admit to chuckling when combining the pic with one of my favorite Demotivators. 🤭

I dunno...Friday for us has "May produce heavy rainfall" and they mentioned that specifically on the radio, too. Maybe this is a new thing - directive from on-high or somethin'?

And here's Part II
August 9, 2025 at 9:20 PM
I posted these earlier this summer, but Jon Stewart / The Daily Show really did summarize these goings on quite well (I had to split the movie into two parts - here's Part I).

Reminds me of one of my favorite comics (done by someone with the name Jubidoobydoo) of all time; it will never not be hilarious to me:

Psst: Your local @nws.noaa.gov office puts together a daily "Weather Story" to give you a concise look at what to expect in your area? It's true! For example, the Chanhassen, MN office has this up for today's risk for excessive heat & severe storm potential www.weather.gov/mpx/weathers...

Here, I'm gonna put this here not because it is reminiscent of Jar Jar, but because someone needs to have some fun Photoshopping whoever's face on the dude standing next to the Neverending Story Racing Snail.

I would set up a table and straddle the Cheese, Salad, Baguette, and Water/Fizzy water rooms, Four Corners-style.

(I made the last one up, obviously, but that combo would be my nirvana.)
August 3, 2025 at 3:22 PM
😩 Please, make it stop.
August 1, 2025 at 1:44 PM
Agus, what the f#ck was THAT movie.
Not only that, but someone actually brought their REAL, LIVE INFANT to the theater - and it cried whenever the movie got loud...which was a LOT.

I'm glad it was only $6 to be that annoyed, goddamn.
