Of course the king didn’t invite him obviously. The goal is to schmoose Trump into not withdrawing their 50% of support and funding from Ukraine. Canada is not occupied by Russia and is not yet being invaded by the United States. It’s not technically practical for the US to invade Canada.

Ukraine doesn't have another 5 years to wait for the US election for the democrats to pick a poor candidate again and then switch mid way through the election.
