I absolutely adore how pretty much all cultures have their own version of dumplings.

Amorgos is great. More remote; lots of hiking types. Fantastic food. Long ferry ride from Athens tho (nearly 6hrs on the fast ferry) and keep an eye on the weather for the seas becoming very choppy. Best to rent a car while you're there for ease. Worth the walk up to the Monastery of Hozoviotissa.

And the schnitzel and kaiserschmarrn delightful.

Followed by women queuing on the 27th to return said purchases.

That's such a lovely thing you're doing. I'd suggest "You'll have 40+ working years to find your métier. Plenty of time to try new things, change course and uncover paths that you didn't know could be for you. Sometimes, something might not be for you right now but could be right later."
