I am grateful to have met and worked with dedicated and skilled people. I am proud of all that I was able to accomplish, alongside and with, all of them. I feel immense satisfaction in knowing highly-trained emergency communications professionals will still be here proving they are the best. 4/

After I ended my military service it was luck that pointed me in the direction of public safety dispatching but I couldn’t pass up the chance to serve again and again.

The point of all this, if it wasn’t already obvious, is to say I am retiring. 3/

My time in the military was guided by Heraclitus, “Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn’t even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.” 2/

35 years in Public Safety and military service. I have had many inspirations. From childhood: “In the great Hall of the Justice League there are assembled the world’s greatest heroes. Their mission: To fight injustice, to right that which is wrong, and to serve all mankind.” So cool. 1/
