I took QM II which seems equivalent to your senior year QM (Sakurai) and even though it was nearly the worst taught of my physics courses it was very helpful in grad school. If the major is to be broadly accessible it shouldn't be required, but should be recommended to those planning grad school.

Doing those physics courses and the upper level Astro courses required for the astro major would nearly satisfy the requirements to double major so half or more astro majors would tack on physics.

When I was a major the requirements might have been slightly different but I majored in physics as well so didn't pay close attention. Astro majors who were planning for grad school were strongly encouraged to take upper-level UG Classical Mech, E & M, and Thermal/Statistical Physics.

At my undergrad doing only the astro major currently requires: the intro for majors mechanics/E & M sequence, Waves & Oscillations, QM I (up to solving hydrogen atom), and Special Relativity. Math required: Calc I/II and proof-based linear algebra or the more computation-based Vectors & Matrices.

I felt like there was a solid throughline from Origins through Inquisition as the story of Thedas but Veilguard broke it for me. Its Tevinter was toothless and the weird blank slate to avoid importing choices was a terrible compromise.

I'm thinking about when they tried to market Dragonlance and played up the war aspects of the setting. I don't think that book fits the way they talk about the game now.

So many timescales and narrative arcs.
