We desperately need investment in gas storage, it’s vital for our energy security.

Our members at AstraZeneca produce life changing medicines and the 5,500 skilled jobs on site are vital to the local community in Macclesfield.

Next week marks 5 years since the beginning of Covid lockdown.

The lessons from the pandemic have not been learned - our members in the care sector are still having to fight for a decent wage and proper sick pay.

We will be dependent on gas for decades to come, and we can’t rely on imports to meet our needs.

These workers and their communities deserve a future.

Care workers do an incredible job, and they deserve to be paid properly and treated fairly.

That means being able to afford to take time off when sick - not spreading illness or falling into debt.
