This is a perfectly fine PNW Cider. I’d even call it rather good. Sweet-ish but not too sweet. I’ll tell you what would make it better is like a scintilla of a hint of pecan or spice flavor. That would really make it somewhat special.

Oregon has its problems. Portland has its problems, but one thing we should be fiercely proud of, is the fact that there is NOT ONE Dunkin’ Donuts (aka Dunkin’, aka Dunkies) in the entire state!! We don’t mess with terrible coffee here.

Today’s screaming cold take. This stuff is TERRIBLE. Sure, the bottle is cute and the wording is quirky and you’re supposed to be made to feel good about using it because of the cutesy drawings on it. It’s also Spanish, supposedly. Spanish olive oil is amazing. This is not. Dirty, bitter, almost rancid. And no, I didn’t try to cook or “sizzle” with it because good EV olive oil should be drinkable to begin with. Gross.

Hey Portland. “Foodie city.” Why do we accept that the quality of fish/seafood in every supermarket here is absolutely atrocious? Brown salmon? Previously frozen and run over by a semi? $36/lb halibut that’s been thrown against a brick wall 3x over? Yum. Two pounds please, because I hate myself.
