Was about 15 when he died and had that feeling he was just some aging rock star who'd had his time. Like you say, horrible way to die.

Was listening to them a lot yesterday on a train journey down to London. Never a huge amount of knowledge about them but was couldn't believe Marriott was just 44 when he died. 44 FFS!
