Weirdly, children dont operate like adults and need time off to recuperate. Anything longer than 8 weeks and many of them are absolutely knackered and are more prone to illness because their body defenses are low.

Question: The catalytic converter isn't effective until warm and can take 10 mins to be fully effective, and warms slower at lower speeds. Drive out of town takes 10 mins so does this mean I am blowing out particulates like a party popper- so the particulate pollution is worse?

Deportation centres are a problem but you imply you wouldn't go to the USA as you fear them. The usa receives more people annually as visitors than is the pop. of the UK. Those people have visa irregularities. They shouldn't be interned the way they are but it is a tiny tiny issue.

No. They are happening but they are not as prevalent as people make out. The absolute vast majority of those have visa irregularities. The press are now reporting what has been happening for years.

You're claiming a strawman argument with a strawman argument. I visit fairly regularly and haven't met a single traveller who has had their phone checked. Every visitor who has been denied entry or detained that I've seen reported in the press has had visa irregularities- thats always been an issue

In the UK? Academic subjects are not all streamed. The English exams were devised in a way that streaming is not necessary, unlike, for example, maths.

On reflection- as well as the British, Americans and Polish are the other nations where I have encountered an unusually high number of unpleasant drunks.
Personally, I'd ban alcohol. Or charge those with alcohol induced illnesses to use the health service.
