all considered, it's a mark of intellectual thinking to consider why people with opposing viewpoints do things. Not that you have to ever agree with it, but understanding why is smarter than ignoring opposing viewpoints all together. More knowledge just means more options. and probably depression..

Had this issue for a few years on/off. For me initially, the core reason I drew was to make friends laugh and enjoy my dumb cartoons. When I didn't have that reason anymore, the drive became "because I want to see it made, no one else will make my ideas for me". Gotta believe in that mentality

Having lost both my parents by 30, my cat, and a majority of my old friends wanting nothing to do with me, I find that blind optimism helps. New doors will open. Plus, taking care of yourself honors the dead, and spites enemies.
