So figured out what this was... another race in Crystal Caves. This time a flying course against a very vulture-sounding Squawks. Unfortunately incredibly broken so requires a lot of pushing and poking to get it working as intended.

A really cool new trick was found in OoT recently to Hookshot Jump all the way up Fire Temple and skip most of the dungeon up to Hammer. This saves over 2 minutes in categories that do Fire Temple and was one of the biggest tricks still left to find.

apparently the func responsible for making dashell give you a pm64 spindash is... fully functional?! all i had to do was patch the dashell use function. here it is in its full glory~

Finally got an ablation in my lower back for chronic pain caused my arthritis in my lower back joint. Basically they put 6 needles in my back and killed the nerves with radiofrequency so they won't grow back for 6 months
