She immediately caught a scent and began to track, nose to the ground. After a while she looked out into the trees and began barking. I couldn't see whatever it was but I have no doubt it was there. I had to insist that we return home. Now she's warm and cuddled up in her bed in my office. 🐶❤️

At 7:30 AM I checked the temp ( 35F with a windchill of 25F) - threw on my southern winter coat, a scarf, knit cap and some gloves. Picked up her leash and called "Lucy! Walkies!" She emerged with tail wagging and we headed out. Lucy is a Mountain Feist and even at 14 years she loves the cold.
