True, but that doesn't erase how alarm fatigue keeping you from keeping predators out of your spaces still hurts people too. Plus in cases where the victims are other people in the community, predators rarely have only one victim.

Alarm fatigue has lead to real harm in allowing predators back into spaces they shouldn't be in, usually with other trans people and abuse survivors being the ones hurt by it.

Being skeptical is good, but I've seen too many cases of people getting away with being a predator because people who are skeptical don't look into it themselves. There are people who will use how trans artists get pedojacketed to hide and worm their way into spaces full of survivors.
