I’m broadly fine with digital copies. In fact for the most part, I prefer them.

Now excuse me while I go play single player Sparc and Marvel Powers United.

Oh.

Wait.

This is fair.

I constantly remind myself that (even though reviewing games isn't my day job) my hugely enhanced access to games has forever changed my relationship with them.

One can focus on objectivity & perspective during the process, but your point remains nonetheless.

Go play games people.

HL:A goes on sale fairly regularly so I’d recommend keeping it your wishlist. I got it for something silly like 70% off

Some of this will depend on the headset/system you have, but here’s a little list of PCVR games to try:

Stormland
Arken Age
Vertigo 2
Half Life: Alyx
Metro: Awakening
Alien: Rogue Incursion
Brass Tactics
Final Assault
Asgards Wrath
Lone Echo (1&2)
Underdogs
Population One
Sprint Vector

Great tip, thanks!

Don’t tease me like that

I was playing the endless combat challenge and definitely put my fist into household items

It was my introduction to VR and it was wonderful

I’d love to see Big Box do a take on an extraction shooter. Something basically built on the foundations of Pop One, both graphically and mechanically.

It’s not usually my favorite sub genre of shooter but Big Box has a knack for making things deep but still accessible

You win

While there is zero chance I’ll find myself with access to PSVR2, I am planning on getting a proper gaming rig this year!

Soon I will be able to experience all those fancy titles that came out after my humble 1060 3gb became obsolete.

Sooooooon

Ooooh, look at you with your fancy access to ALL the VR formats.

Must be nice 😉

May I ask for your equivalent? Or is that a trade secret?
January 25, 2025 at 11:40 PM
If only you’d funnel this energy into getting us inFamousVR like you know we deserve

Also, hi! How’s things mate?
January 25, 2025 at 11:39 PM
I feel weird including Glassbreakers, but hey… it’s just a personal opinion list so really it can be whatever I want
January 25, 2025 at 11:36 PM
Lol, I kind of am.

I’m at a point now where I can no longer really do a top 3, I have to do a top 6 or my brain starts to fizz.

Broadly speaking I would say:

1. Echo VR
2. Asgards Wrath 2
3. Pistol Whip
4. Underdogs
5. Glassbreakers
6. Population One
January 25, 2025 at 11:36 PM
I shift the exact order around all the time but Pistol Whip has been in my top 3 since the day it came out

What if the AI that writes my pitch wears a fake moustach or a convincing Glitch mask?

How would you possibly be able to tell then?
January 22, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Honestly, I would need to see a list of games for each to make that call.

I’ve realised more and more lately that having new headsets is fine, but 100% in this for the games I can play with them

Or Deckard.

I could just say Deckard
January 22, 2025 at 7:05 AM
I wanted the controls to be similar to Glassbreakers and give you multiple ships.

I then spent my entire play through dreaming of a completely different game as opposed to enjoying this one

I really wanted there to be gesture based magic. The staffs just feel like wonky guns to me.

If there was the ability to essentially play the character from Wizards: Dark Times in this I’d play CONSTANTLY
