I both love and hate game jams for this, deadline means it actually gets “finished”, but they rarely live up to my expectations of myself and that just kills desire to keep working on it.
Without game jams I can spend more time making it “good”, but I’m a massive procrastinator and rarely finish😭

First thought is Jak 3, you could slow down everything in the world but you, used it for platforming segments to avoid hazards and it was just fun to fuck with enemies while they couldn’t keep up.

Second thought is the Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor, which is just an enemy slowdown iirc

Feel that 😭. Game jam next week, then a longer term project with some friends. Also gotta go back to a personal project I started last year to learn Godot, but then there’s a totally new idea consuming more and more of my thoughts lately. There’s just no end to the things I wanna do 😥
