I’m gonna carry Carolina Lily seeds in my pocket… whether I hand them out or they stay with me, I will always try and leave this place a little better than how I found it

I think of the little Ukrainian woman that told the Russian invaders, “Take these seeds and put them in your pockets, so at least sunflowers will grow when you all lie down here…” When it happens let us find the bravery to speak in defense of ourselves and the ones that had their voices silenced.

Should’ve done that 12 months ago. If you didn’t do it then, do it now.

… and the people we can’t stand down the block or around the corner. So build your communities safely and vet thoroughly. Identify your affinity groups. Articulate your individual skill sets and recognize where you’re lacking. Then reach out to people that can plug that gap.
