Stopped by Bertram's Inkwell today & finally couldn't resist the call of this pen... it's been on my list for a couple of years & now that they're discontinuing the colorway I figured I might as well...

Ugh. Our TV broke in a recent move.
We waited until Black Friday to get a new TV. The TV we wanted was an extra 15% off from electronic_express on Ebay, which is a highly rated seller.
It arrived broken. There are *forklift tracks* on the box. We can only return it.
No more BF sale prices :(

I'm working on this blanket in Caron Anniversary Cakes "Peppermint Plaid" - I'm loving the colorway so far.
Each row is 407 stitches and there are 50 sum cables, which I'd never knit before. They're easier than I thought!
The body will be all herringbone stitch :)

T'is the season for fiber arts 🧶
I'm working on this blanket in Caron Anniversary Cakes "Peppermint Plaid" - I'm loving the colorway so far.

I think I've done it
I've finally killed the mold that kept growing on the grip section of my matte finished ebonite Ranga fountain pen
Bleach did nothing. Vinegar did nothing. I had to remove the metal parts (to prevent corrosion) and soak all of the ebonite in a phenol solution.
I am relieved 🥲

Wow, I thought FWI had collabed with Esterbrook for the Niblet... apparently Esterbrook just stole the Pencket design. I am disappointed.
