Never been one of mine tbh, but doing a Capaldi rewatch and liked it this time. My go to for Capaldi is always “The Husbands of Rover Song” but the granddaddy has to be “A Christmas Carol”.

Some music cues aside, one of the most perfect stories in Doctor Who. Pertwee, John and Courtney are all superb. The ending is Chefs Kiss.

A really solid story. Great performances all round and one of the best examples of Douglas Adams getting the comedy level right. Obligatory Green Penis comment.

The rules say play has to stop. To dispute Anthony Taylor, fans aren’t expecting perfection from Referees. We just want consistency and competency from one game to the next. Especially on the basic rules.

Even by panning away they’re drawing attention to the fact that it’s a horrible idea driven by greed. Again, fans are an afterthought.

My Dad suffered from these for a while and it’s truly horrible to see someone in that state. Hope you’re both resting up and it passes soon.

The thought and depth that went into the writing on that game is incredible. Such an emotionally rewarding playthrough. Felt the same with Jedi Fallen Order.
