Walk at the beach today included only a few fisherman but many flocks of birds and a raft of sea lions. Cold and chilly at first but warm and sunny (for winter). Plovers, curlews, willets, marbled godwits, scooters, and seagulls were plentiful today. A needed break from life.

Walking down the path at the slough are large, very old oak trees, twisted, and wonderful to see. The sun shines, and there is a cold crispness in the air. The air is wonderful to breathe.
