“some of the best fiction is now being written as non fiction” because in order to create something believable you have to believe it yourself. if you write with the intention of writing a fake story it will feel fake #realityhunger

non fiction and fiction have a blurred line now in my opinion. fiction may be untrue, but it derived from wanting to make stories that didn’t happen believable using real events. unless it’s like completely unbelievable , like game of thrones, all fiction is non fiction. #realityhunger

#realityhunger real art being pictures of biblical subjects is insane, i never even thought that were was a time when art had expectations and rules. growing up all the tv shows and movies always said art has no rules. well it did at some point!

sooo early novelists wanted to stray away from non fiction, they wanted to lie in their writing. but in early writing they also tried passing off their novels as true? this is the birth of fiction and imagination! they wanted people to see it as real to get the full experience? #realityhunger

went back to look up the definition of Mimesis, on a site called poetry foundation it states it’s the reproduction of an external reality, such as nature, through artistic expression. basically this chapter is showing us how we expressed ourselves through writing overtime ? #realityhunger

the audio forced me to try to gather context clues from all the sounds before what the narrator was saying. there was a lot of environmental sounds, which i tried making my own story out of which ended up not being true #atmospherestudy
