I got aesprite the other day, so here are some pixel experiments, plus a colored pencil drawing, which I rarely do. First is experimenting with types of shading. Second and third were test pieces where I did my sona. Fourth is Ivy, from Drake of Craumont, which was difficult without my undo button.

My favorite art from this year. Didn't draw anywhere near as much as I wish I had, but I still like what I've done overall. The last one is a model I made for vrchat.

I was gifted a printer a while ago, and I finally got around to setting it up. I had to open an app to install another app to sign up for an account to give my location to my printer so it could tell me that the setup cartridges have ink but I am not allowed to use it. Technology was a mistake

Movie idea: Someone leaves a bunch of innocuous-seeming video reviews on random amazon products that have concerning details in the background. And if you string all of them together in the right order, you get a mystery movie about a serial killer. That would require finding every review, though

Anyone who's following me for Abyssal Garden: I'm putting the story on hiatus while I finish writing it. My pace with it has slowed so much that I feel like it makes more sense to finish the story, then upload everything.

I don't watch many tv shows, but Alien: Earth was overall pretty enjoyable. I won't say anything specific because the season only just ended today

I really enjoyed Laika: Aged Through Blood, but it was too hard for me to beat. I could possibly beat it with practice, but that's more time than I'm willing to invest, unfortunately

I think the biggest surprise of being in my 30s is that conversations feel richer somehow. Like, I'm not even sure what exactly is different. Has learning new things become more exciting? Have I just stopped being stupid? No one knows the answers

Just finished rewatching all of Samurai Jack. Some of it still holds up really well, some of it not as much. Of the three endings the series has, (show, comic, game), my personal favorite is still the comic's, which, to me, felt like a better continuation and ending to the series than the show's.

I finished my drawing! I wasn't sure how to go about drawing Marama's chin tattoos—Maori tattoos have a lot of meaning in them—so I hid her chin. Due to lack of planning, I ended up hiding most of her face, unfortunately. Still, I'm overall satisfied with how it turned out.
