I don’t know what Disney executive thought “When love is gone” was an expendable part of the Muppets’ Christmas Carol, but they clearly didn’t understand how pivotal that song was to explaining Scrooge. Thankfully they now offer the full length version on Disney+… which I most certainly wept to.
