Ginger | 25 | I like object shows atm
I draw furry objects and sometimes other random art.
But also if that .gif is a 'explodes 1000 miles of land every 2 minutes and kicks puppies forever' machine, and people were like "this is a necessary sacrifice for the advancement of humans, to use a .gif "

Well, I'm not here to tell you how to feel (though I do not think it was selfish) but ultimately it's ok to feel pain via the ii ep scene, it's normal to feel pain when something reminds you.

Idk, I think you're fine to feel hurt seeing that scene, grief can do that sometimes, random things will remind you. It hurts, and you can always tackle that later, but you're ok, you're fine. Take time to regulate.

And I can understand being ashamed of not visiting loved ones in the hospital, but sometimes it's just what is better for your sake. You're young, you don't have as much emotional regulation ability as some 25+ adult. Seeing someone dying is painful, it hurts.

I cried thinking about how 2 days before my dad died, he had called me, and I rolled my eyes and ignored his call, annoyed he kept trying to be part of my life.

Having a trigger in an animated show is literally fine, it happens, other people have this happen.

When my dad died I actively cried at a star wars Rise of Skywalker scene abt a chara's dead dad saying he was proud of his son despite his wrongdoings. It's an absolutely stupid dumb movie, I still cried

Also, what can be helpful is writing down a list of symptoms you've been experiencing, how long you've had this and often you experience them.
November 26, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Don't say "I think I have x" outright, cause even if you're likely right they're gonna get mega defensive. Instead describe your symptoms, and say "I have a friend with x who has similar symptoms and thought I should see a doctor" or "A family member mentioned x because of the symptoms I have"
