Rewatch complete of what I believe is the best video game adaptation to date. 4 seasons of peak animation, action, score and voice acting. Just incredible from start to finish.

Expected this to be style over substance but it’s got a real heart to it on top of the god tier action. Ep 6 being almost entirely dialogue free and hitting those pristine emotional beats was phenomenal. Great setup for season 2 also.

Wrights overly ambitious trilogy ender. Great cast, superb choreography push it past its frankly awful characters. Pegg playing frankly a self centered asshole till you find out his motivation brings the film down just a Peg ;)

Still just an absolute banger. Still shockingly good cg but it’s Carrey and his iconic almost borderline special effects face, expressions and movements that are scene stealers. And Diaz crushing her debut.

Wrights absolutely perfect love letter to the buddy cop action genre. Pegg is pitch perfect, Frost is fantastic and the hysterical supporting cast nail it.

Stathams absolutely ridiculous and over the top franchise starter. He’s cool as a cucumber throughout. Generic plot and was with every round being a tracer round hold it back a bit buts solid.

Del Toro was the perfect director for this. Gorgeous, somber, elegant. Isaac is fantastic but it’s Elordi who’s a revelation. Buried beneath makeup and still the beating heart of the film. Sensational performance.

What could’ve been a banger is brought down by bad editing and JLo sucking the energy out of every scene. Brutal Staham/Bernhardt fight is choppily edited to boot.

Solid action thriller. Solid cast. Kinda cliched but Statham rules as always. He’s a beast and got some great chemistry with his film daughter. Too many characters and a kinda jumbled plot.

After 57 hrs I have rolled credits on Ghost of Yotei. Thank you SuckerPunchfor crafting a game that somehow surpassed the masterpiece that was Tsushima. A brutal, yet beautiful story and game that now will be one of my favorite of all time. A masterpiece in every way.

After 57 hrs I have rolled credits on Ghost of Yotei. Thank you SuckerPunchfor crafting a game that somehow surpassed the masterpiece that was Tsushima. A brutal, yet beautiful story and game that now will be one of my favorite of all time. A masterpiece in every way.
Decent if overstuffed sequel. Smulders is a great addition who handles the action very well but generic bad guys and a scattershot mystery kinda home this one back a bit. Still solid. Shame Cruise didn’t get a third.

We’ve been spoiled by Ritchson yes, but physicality aside Cruise really nails the character.

One of my favorite films ever. Brandon’s charisma and natural talent shine through tragic circumstances. Beautifully shot, gothic action romance revenge film. Great supporting cast. Incredible soundtrack.
