Engineer, Blue Dot Dweller. Was freaked out by US swing to authoritarianism under Bush Jr. Now it’s not clear our Democracy will even be that good again within my lifetime.
My thinking on this sort of thing changed when I heard someone say approx this: Do not expect me to be civil and respectful when you are literally trying to take away my rights. Whatever that line is, Vance has crossed it. He should not get the respect given to an honest participant in our democracy
