We may end up, forcing ourselves into more autonomous vehicles just because there’s not enough operators.

I’d have to look into this more, but my gut says that we have more bus operators, leaving the industry than joining the industry.

The infrastructure is one problem. The second problem is going to be the shortage of actual bus operators. We don’t have enough as it is.

I don’t think it’s a matter of Metro caring. Waymo serves a market that (I’m assuming) would never consider Metro (micro, bike, bus, rail) as a transportation option.
