I worried that Sunderland's aggressive, stop-start tactics would be copied by other teams playing us, and it looked like Chelsea did just that yesterday (even, supposedly, moving the advertising boards!).
Are we going to see a lot more of this from other teams and how can we mitigate against it?

I didn't like seeing Gyok have a go at Timber for that header at the end either. Timber was one of the best players on the pitch yesterday and I don't want to see any of our amazing team spirit chipped away!

They only need to improve in 3 areas: attacking, defending, and midfield.

This combo will go down in history!

Eze + Martinelli = Goal

Bearing in mind he also discussed our left centre-back, Mascara, I'd say no.

Good to see Martin Keown back to his best with player name pronunciations: tonight we have Mascara and Supermendi.

... and, to add to the positive stuff, how great is it that we are not talking about any poor refereeing decisions, after a Michael Oliver match?

He was gigantic today - something I never thought I'd say about Trossard.

I wonder if Mikel’s refusal to disclose player availability will, in time, become something he is ‘fondly’ known for, in the same way as Arsene’s inability to see pitch incidents involving his players 😉

Agree.

I think the improvement to our disciplinary record this season might also owe something to the fact that we've not had Michael Oliver officiating us yet. 😶

Oh, and, while I'm here, does anyone have the number for that Congolese Witch Doctor?

Time for Hincapie to show us that warrior we've heard so much about.
What I'lI miss most from Gabi's absence is his passion and leadership, but Hincapie, as captain of his Ecuadorian team, should be able to provide here - and he also knows a thing or two about clean sheets.

Where else outside football do you hear the phrase 'on the bounce', and what's wrong with 'in a row'?
