Last week, @megainfinity.band released the first single, Temperance, off their upcoming album, and it might be their best song to date. I was not expecting them to shift this deep into hardcore, and it sounds really good.

In the first two images the pitches called balls are well within the zone- 99% of the ball can be outside of the zone and its a strike. The fact that these pitches arent even on the border is insane. In the third image the worst pitch of the sequence (3) is a called strike

This is kind of an odd request. I'm not happy about having to ask for help either, so l'm super uncomfortable right now. BUT it's not about me. I started a music program at the alternative high school where I teach. Mostly the kids spend all day going through coursework on their computers, but I think it's so important to have time during the day to pursue creativity- To take a break from hunching over a desk. And the music program has been really successful. It's evolved from just music appreciation and history to learning how to play an instrument. I have 2 guitars, a ukulele, and a keyboard for kids to use. They would take turns practicing with what I had available One student last year, who'd never touched a guitar in his life, taught himself how to play 2 songs on one of the guitars in my room. He was so obsessed with learning, I let him take my guitar home every night (with parental permission). He even said to me he never knew playing music would mean so much to him. I've seen the effect learning how to play just one song can have on their entire mindset. But my stock of instruments is very, very small. My school is very small, and there just isn't money to fund the music class. We're also a title 1 school, so i can't really ask my students to buy or rent their own instruments. It would be too much of a barrier. I've found cheap learner guitars on Amazon that I'm using (about $45/guitar), and I am trying to buy more. But what I'd like to do is ask this: Does anyone have guitars they would be willing to donate to my campus? They don't have to be perfect, they just have to work. Acoustic or electric, we use both.
