#RIPFrankGehry Mum found peace, comfort and support in dealing with terminal cancer at Frank Gehry-designed Maggies's Centre, Dundee. What an incredible legacy he leaves behind.

Glued on the final googly eye & was feeling very smug for having finished these with nearly 3 weeks to go, when I realised that since starting them, another student has joined the class, so I'm one short. Crochet yarn out again!

Witness for the Prosecution yesterday with our friend,Sahar, as the steongrapher & Jax's housemate, Charlie, as the accused. All the cast were absolutely brilliant & the gorgeous venue made it all the more special.

In the capital this weekend for our Jax's graduation. Saw The Producers last night. Absolutely brilliant! Haven't laughed so much in ages.

Clockwork's an old favourite of mine for UKS2. Really sinister! I've downloaded the other, for older children, on the recommendation of a friend. Saving it for my train journey tomorrow.

Just finished this gorgeous book. A boy learns to find the joy and pride in his love for his younger, autistic brother. Beautiful writing, as always from Katya Balen.

Silverwing by Kenneth Oppel. A young silverwing bat, the runt of the colony sets out to prove himself on the long, arduous winter migration south. Cracking adventure story!

Oscar nomination for sure. Emma Thomson is absolutely brilliant in this!

On this wild and wooly day, a throwback to my old life in Spain. This quiet little village is near our place. Lots of street art, pleasant pastoral walks & a bar by the municipal pool serving great coffee.

Almost missed the fact that one of my all-time favourite singer-songwriters is playing nearby this weekend! Saw him twice in Málaga many years ago. Cannot wait to see @rufus-wainwright.bsky.social at the Glasshouse!🥳

I love both of these. Look Up shows that everyone, even the youngest, can have a positive influence on others. The Arrival helps build empathy with migrants, needed now more than ever.
