I understand. It does something to you, seeing what you are drawn to vilified and trashed.
I can only speak for myself when I say your work has been ubiquitous in my own self-expression, and my boys would've been poorer without it.

Shadowbringers is a better expansion than Endwalker. I'd rank it far above on quality.
But Endwalker made me cry.
Ugly cry.
Uncontrollably.
If what we want out of art is to be moved, to have it strike some secret core within us, then I can ask no more of Endwalker than this to be my favorite.

I don't know that I agree. So many of my boys are dark to a greater or lesser extent - I wouldn't be able to fully express them without this.
Dark-skinned beauty deserves to exist and flourish, no matter how rarely others go for it.
