I went for a stupid walk for my stupid health. I am trying to walk twice a week as close to 30 minutes as I can, in order to be ready to walk to softball games come February. That walk is about 40 minutes one way. Then we sit for awhile watching softball, then walk back. Gotta be ready!

I have become a person that has breakfast at 1pm in the afternoon and I think I like it. (Because my work schedule has me home after midnight, going to sleep around 2am.)

I did not have my phone, so no pics, but on our walk this morning we saw turkeys! This is very normal for our town; the river cuts right through the middle and all the green space contains many turkeys (and other wildlife.) But! Turkeys! Always fun to see!

Because I have several knitting projects in progress, clearly what I need to do is cast on for a pair of fingering weight mitts that require following a complicated set of charts. Instead of doing literally anything easier.

I have 113 grams of yarn that is labeled DK weight and I'm trying to figure out how many yards it might be and I have to keep stopping myself from just buying more DK weight yarn so I can start a completely new shawl that I know I have enough yarn for. I should be in the other room knitting!

My store is open until 12am all this month and so my half shift nights don't start until 8pm and dear GOD I am trying to stay busy but also not forget that I do have to go to work eventually and OH MY GOD time is moving so slowly and yet I can also not focus on anything.
