@chrismizon.bsky.social Obscure but Ben will know what that means. It gives it a very rich and mellow sound but also limits it in other ways, like trying different tunings. I'd assume the theorbo and other period instruments are in just rather than equal, I'm not sure.

So I have recently acquired a new dulcimer - lol another new dulcimer, which is built the old fashioned way with what's called "just temperament" rather than equal temperament, which is usual for most modern instruments.
