Not every killing is murder, though. I killed people in my time in the USMC. I never murdered anybody in my life, though.

NATO was created to protect its members—nothing less and nothing more. Ukraine isn’t one, and the reasons why are manifold, many of them predating Trump’s political career.

Nobody is going to enter a war with Russia for Ukraine; that’s just a fact. Even if it were the only way to stop every single man, woman, and child in Ukraine from dying a terrible death, that’s not a price any country is willing to pay.

Confronting the active shooter was the right call.

He was in the apartment complex; it has, like most LA apartment complexes, an outside area. It would have been actually less bad if he had fired inside the building than outside into the air; at least there the projectiles would have been contained.

He fired a rifle with a .223 round chambered inside an apartment complex. When confronted by an off-duty ICE officer who was living in that apartment complex, he was pointing his rifle in the officer’s direction. That’s suicide by LEO, not murder.

He was doing nothing wrong, just firing his AR-15 inside his apartment complex in the air. Is that a crime now?

Raw pork can actually be delicious. I wouldn’t have thought so, but after living in Germany for a year and eating Hackepeter almost daily for breakfast, I’m 100% a convert.

Why would it be? Isn't protection like a big reason for having a dog in the first place? I'd rather have them well trained.

"He was celebrating the new year by firing a weapon" At what and where?

I didn't help that when border states bussed a minuscule amount of migrants into big cities with right to shelter law those cities acted like the world was ending.

I mean every time I read the proposal for an leftty approved immigration system here on bluesky I have force myself not to put up a Stephen Miller 2028 sign up in my driveway.

Also what if they want to keep their property regardless of some arbitrary value limit?
February 3, 2026 at 4:59 PM
I mean that's not Siemens job tho.
February 3, 2026 at 4:05 PM
But the federal government is constitutionally forbidden from doing that, that's why there are now federal property taxes.
February 3, 2026 at 4:04 PM
Why?
February 3, 2026 at 3:03 PM
Go where?
February 3, 2026 at 2:28 PM
I mean idealy they go to jail and don't continue to be a problem for polite society anylonger how is that not a win?
February 3, 2026 at 2:20 PM
It's a bad comparison since the question then would be how many guests of R. Kelly and Sean Combs's parties did time? Because Trump, like most of the people at those parties, was an attendee, not an organizer.

What if it's not money but IP or another form of equity?
