Man i wish Radio Shack still existed. trying to find a good soldering iron (or a station) for under 50 bucks (for things like swapping controllers to Hall Effect, etc) , but the amazon reviews on everything are kinda crap... meh.

ok, I thought the boba tea in a can would SUCK, and it does by about 20% - but thats only because the boba is weirdly flavorless. I guess using real tapioca pearls is either too expensive or technological unfeasible? This is the cheep stuff from the japanese section at walmart so...

One of the things I've noticed with Unreal Engine 5.5 is, if you leave it opened for long periods, when you go to test your level it gets kinda stuttery/sluggish.

Meh ... why do they not make DEMOS anymore? there needs to be a demo of The Thing: Remastered. it's only 30 bucks but still... I played the original and liked it (I think I still have it actually... i should dig it up.)

Average idle temp 50 to 60C. haven't tested on load yet (played Alan Wake but didn't have the stats on screen. Fans did not ramp up to a noticeable level). NOTE - Temp goes up as much as 5 degrees when smallest cat sits on top vent of pc....

meh. RIP Modo. weird how the progression for me was Lightwave3D >> Modo, and I could go right back to Lightwave3D in 2024. lol.... Except Blender exists, and its free. But still, Modo was a damned good app. Probably still good for Modeling (for the next 10 years, lol)
