Amber met our adult cats and immediately decided that Junebug was her mother. Junebug isn't so sure but has been very polite about letting Amber cuddle her and even given her some friendly licks on the head.

They continue to make great progress. Amber is now completely comfortable hanging around in the open and will usually let u pat her and even purrs when u do. Whisper is still very skittish but will eat and play with people around. She has even been coming out of her room to explore the house a bit.

Good news! The other one who we're calling Whisper has emerged from hiding. She's still very nervous about humans but we're making progress. I even got her playing with the feather wand earlier.

Of course there are no *valid* justifications for what Israel is doing but if you're not critiquing their *pretense* of justification and on the literal level you're writing about a loose fictional surrogate, then you're kinda left with something too abstract to be of much real substance.

What I mean is, it presents a situation where an unequivocal dictatorship launches an invasion of another sovereign nation without even the pretense of justification. It's in tackling those pretenses tho there's an opportunity to say something bold or insightful about the real world.
