I got Donkey Kong Bananza for my birthday. Started it up tonight, and genuinely spent the first 10-15 minutes just destroying as much as I could in this very first room.
I’m gonna lose SO MUCH TIME to random destruction sprees and “ooh a piece of candy” moments in this game.

8:12AM - Got my Switch 2!! Brought it home and am setting things up now with the transfer process. Really hope this holds up well <3
Also picked up a physical copy of Mario Kart World, plus the Tulin and Sidon amiibo. Super excited today :D

I unfortunately don’t have any real arcades near me, so I hardly get the chance to partake or investigate.
I did recently visit an out-of-town mall that had a small arcade, though! Didn’t play anything due to time constraints, but these were some of the cooler machines I saw there.

Been playing Zelda: Minish Cap for the 1st time lately, via Wii U Virtual Console.
I tried Link Between Worlds years ago, didn’t gel with it, and feared I didn’t like 2D Zelda. This is changing my mind! The gameplay is solid & I really love the sense of scale in the miniature mechanics/traversal.

This is what I’ve got so far! The two childhood games up top, with the others being acquired over the last year or so.
Double Dash’s disc sadly isn’t 100% functional, so I’m working on replacing it. It has the Bonus Disc in it, though, which seems to work fine. And I finally got Melee YESTERDAY!

Got TCG Pocket redownloaded now that my new phone can fit it. This is my first time seeing a Wonder Pick cost 4 energy (no I didn’t go for it). 🤔

Upgraded my iPhone after years of using an iPhone 8 Plus that was finally going kaput.
Did a direct phone-to-phone transfer, and DRAGALIA LOST MADE IT onto the new phone! …Albeit with most of the app data gone, just the title screen & save data (I hope).

My family’s homemade Thanksgiving haul. Glazed ham, sweet potato casserole, mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and some rolls.
Got that classic “Thanksgiving stuffed” sensation from this. Always a good feel.
