I’m hopeful that new voices will be on the rise, especially because fascism always loses. But it sucks to see it happen to creators who put so much care into the games they put out.

I was talking to another friend of mine about that the other day. This purchase is going to leave a lot of great franchises in the dust and rob us of some great stories about diverse characters. 😭

Dragon Age: Inquisition. I had to start over from scratch, and I’d only gotten about halfway before I had to stop last time I played. I’ve moved onto Veilguard, which has such a different vibe, but it’s delightful.

Yes, omg! Xe’s actually my second character to have a gender awakening in the series, the first one being a trans woman that I wasn’t expecting to write, and both of their arcs are really important to me because they show different experiences of being gender nonconforming and becoming yourself.

I’m a masc author writing science fiction, and one of my MCs is a masc trans man. The other starts the series off as a femme cis man and starts identifying as genderqueer enby (which is kind of a spoiler for the third book, but oh well LOL). But there’s loads of other masc characters as well.
