For God's sake: Trump is not interested to bring an end to that war, he's solely interested in striking business deals with Putin and join forces with him to destroy the EU.

The population of south-east Asian countries is many times that of the US. As middle classes grow, they will replace the US debt-ridden middle class many times over as consumer base and China is much better placed than the US to serve that consumer base. As the above graph demonstrates
