Nice long-form writing and thinking. Seriously. I do not main Linux, yet this piece gives me several interesting config aspects to think about.

BTW, weaving in the <code> tags in your sentences without disrupting the writing flow was the best touch. The conversational command-as-verb was great.

"I want to create wonderful pages."

a customized tinymce nightmare:
"<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;">are you ready for</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>fun? All text defaults to 12pt. Don't expect <code>&lt;code&gt;</code> tags to work well.</p>"

Ahh, yes. The annual email reminder about my iTunes Match subscription renewal. Since 2011: iTunes Match.

I have **no idea** what happens if someone cancels that. And at this point, I'm too afraid to find out.

Take your $25 fear fee, Apple.

"One hundred and fourty nine links. And one of them is the one Simon is looking for.

...

Simon quickly gave up. He simply cannot use this site.

There are too many things on this page. And there are too many semantics he doesn’t understand."

Want to play YouTube videos directly on macOS?

Use IINA, the excellent & open source media player.

1. Get IINA: iina.io
2. Get yt-dlp: github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp
3. Set yt-dlp path in IINA (Settings > Plugins > Online Media > Settings > Use custom yt-dlp)
4. Open YT URL in IINA
5. Success!

Enjoy!

You’re still a part of the Adobe community."

Ehhhhhhh.

might as well lean into this and spend entirely too much time researching the models and brands certified or approved by the SCA and ECBC

SCA Certified Home Brewers: sca.coffee/certified-ho...

ECBC Approved Home Brewers: ecbc.no/overview/dom...

Nice! 🙌

(FYI, I spotted this *potential* visual styling regression for the "Built for live coding" pill. Present on "Auto" and "Light" modes.)

Anyway, they finally added a setting to Accessibility to disable this extremely super duper yikes awful Alt/Option key override.

Turn it off:

Settings > General > Accessibility > Keytips > Toggle the "Enable keytips" setting OFF

Coming up for air after months of mostly invisible work is a bizarre sensation.

Not yet "finished" (lol. lmao. as if that is possible) but soooooooon. Soon. Soon!

Soon, I can shift gears into the next chapter. Plus, I can finally share.

I found the least obnoxious and most acceptable website cookie accept/deny prompt.

Love it.

got my desired basic base working, though!

for anyone using @obsidian.md with catalyst access, add the following to a new base you've created

```
Filters
Any of the following are true:
dateEquals(file.ctime, date(now()))
dateEquals(file.mtime, date(now()))
```
