Along the Borden Creek Trail in the Bankhead National Forest. This is at the entrance of the “Fat Man Squeeze”. But that’s a story for another day.

Like the old saying goes, “Make hay while the Sun shines”. Too many foggy days.

The next time I ask you for ideas, you might want to think a little harder. Because, clearly, I've run out of ideas. Well, at least any that work. 🤠

If at first you don't succeed...buy another toy.

Okay then.

I’m running out of foggy-sunrise-pictures ideas. Do you have any?

Seriously @nytimes.com? I'm trying to help y'all and you keep proving all your detractors right? If you're going to fail, at least do it with grace. Not with desperation.

The "Front Page" of the print edition online. I can't read the news for the Tiffany.

Greed will be the death of America.

I hate football...

"Bring Some Cheer"

Another foggy, damp, cold morning on Monte Sano. Never fear, the little red lantern will bring some cheer.

For the ignorant -- like me. Funny thing about that: You don't have to be educated to recognize evil.

Will you -- American citizen -- allow Trump & Co. to start a war where our young people will die?

Will you -- American citizen -- allow Trump & Co. to murder people without any due process?

Funny I can remember that from 30-35 years ago but I couldn’t tell you how to write it in METAR. (0 SM OVC 0 BR?)

Just a wee bit foggy on the mountain this morning.

"See What Happens"

I really didn’t think I’d see anything. Too many clouds. It’s the reason I tell people you can’t predict these things. Just show up and see what happens.

I couldn't resist. I clicked on an ICE ad.

"America has been invaded by criminals and predators. We need YOU to get them out."

Keep in mind that *you* are paying for this stuff. It is *your* money. Go see what you're buying.

I saw this mushroom just off the trail. I could swear that just a day ago, it was a normal, half-circle mushroom on a tree. But today it had that black stem.

Yes. It’s dark one hour before sunrise. At least on the cloudy mornings. 6° colder up here than in the valley. I’ve seen it go the other way too.

Yes, I am stalling. 🤠

So I'm a month behind reading the canned response from my "sane" Senator. (AL. Guess who.)

I am continually stunned as to how many people can't be truthful. Or at least think they can't be truthful.

Fellow #Democrats. Does anybody else think we have Section 1 and Section 2 backwards?

Shouldn't formulating good public policy -- policies that serve American's interest -- come before picking candidates?

I'm hoping someone educated and wise will educate me.
